Exclusive: Stunning bird's eye view of sacred lake Basomtso in Tibet

Basomtso Lake, located in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region and at 3,500 meters above sea level, originates from the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains. Snow-covered mountains, glaciers and tress are reflected upon the lake’s rippled surface. There are small islands in the middle of the lake with Lamaist temples built upon them. CGTN filmed exclusive drone footage of the breathtaking scenery.
