Chinese President Xi concluded his state visit to France on March 26. Before leaving, he and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a grand farewell ceremony held by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace. Xi encouraged the two countries to strengthen pragmatic cooperation and implement the agreements reached during the visit. Macron said that he had in-depth communication with President Xi on bilateral relations as well as international issues, and reached many important consensuses.
