Crawling and screeching, the panda cubs born this year met the public for the first time on September 28 at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The Base in southwest China’s Sichuan Province successfully bred 13 cubs this year. The fuzzy balls of cuteness will join the ranks of their parents to become part of a research and breeding program to save the species once they grow older.
