Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng will visit Russia from September 16 to 18 at the invitation of the Russian government and visit Singapore from September 19 to 21 at the invitation of Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang announced at a regular press briefing on Friday.
During his visit to Russia, Han will co-chair the fifth meeting of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee with Anton Siluanov, first deputy prime minister of Russia; the Chinese vice premier will also co-chair the 15th meeting of the China-Russia Energy Cooperation Committee with Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak.
"Investment and energy cooperation are important parts of the practical cooperation between China and Russia," Geng said, adding that the two sides will review outcomes of their cooperation in the two areas and exchange views on measures to deepen cooperation.

In Singapore, Han and Teo will co-chair the 14th China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation Meeting, the 19th China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council Meeting, the 10th China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Joint Steering Council Meeting, and the second China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Joint Steering Council Meeting.
Han will also meet with Singaporean President Halimah Yacob, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam during his visit, Geng noted.
The two sides will exchange views on China-Singapore relations, cooperation within the framework of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative, and international and regional issues of common concern, the spokesman said.
