At least two people were killed and eight others were injured after an accident occurred at an abrasives company in Dengfeng City, central China's Henan Province on Saturday.

The incident took place at 7:20 a.m. BJT. Authorities initiated emergency response measures soon afterward. 

The injured are receiving medical treatment and are in stable condition. And an investigation into the case is underway.

The police have detained some people for investigation.
