In a landmark decision, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un announces the suspension of the country's nuclear and missile tests on April 20, 2018.
Teng Jianqun, director for the Department of American Studies at China Institute of International Studies, speaks to CGTN about the consequences of the decision. Teng argues that Pyongyang's decision to pause nuclear tests will certainly contribute to the region's peace, but states that stability will rely on cooperation between the ROK and the DPRK.
