In order to promote the smooth implementation of the eight initiatives, China will provide 60 billion US dollars' worth of financial support to Africa through government aid, financing and investment by financial institutions and enterprises, said Chinese President Xi Jinping in a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) on Monday.
