Chinese President Xi Jinping said China and Portugal should seize the opportunity of the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and comprehensively strengthen cooperation within the framework to boost connectivity. Xi made the comments during his talks with his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on Tuesday in Lisbon.
