A souvenir passport has been released at the Beijing International Horticultural Expo. At flagship stores with licensed products, you can find a booklet with flowery pages perfect for stamps from around the expo. You only need to spend some 30 yuan or about 4 U.S. dollars to get the authentic-looking passport.
A total of over 100 stamps are offered by participating countries and international organizations. National flowers of different countries were printed on each page of the passport.
And sometimes it's not just stamps, but the cultural elements in different countries and regions. At the Thailand pavilion garden, you can have your name written in Thai based on the pronunciation of your Chinese name.

"We have Thai name writing after the stamp because when I write something in Thai, people are curious about these letters and the meanings. That's why I got the ideas to do so," Pisanwatanasin Sutthinee, a Thailand tourism authority staff member, told CGTN.
Whether it's a passport or an album, people call the collection process a passion, with a sense of accomplishment.
"I like this stamp from Nicaragua. Look at the sky, the rain and even the rainbow here," said one little boy.

"I've collected almost 100 stamps since 8:30 this morning. I love the French one most, since I am eager to travel there. It feels like touring the whole world within one day, and I've learned more about these countries," said another tourist with a huge collection of stamps.
But be patient with the crowds during public holidays such as the three-day Dragon Boat Festival.
