CGTN reporter Li Ping sat down with ambassador of El Salvador in China Walter Durán for an exclusive interview about the two countries' relations and BRI cooperation.

Li asked the ambassador about expectations for the second edition of the Belt and Road Forum now underway in Beijing. The ambassador expressed his strong wish to consolidate the relationship of fraternity with China during his term. He also praised China's help to Latin American countries. He said El Salvador will participate in the Belt and Road Initiative with more intensity and be fully involved in the forum this year.
