Greek protesters gathered outside the Thessaloniki Concert Hall to oppose the name deal with Macedonia. The rally coincided with a visit by Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos. Greek lawmakers ratified Friday an agreement allowing Macedonia to change its name to North Macedonia. Critics, however, believe the deal gives up Greece's ancient heritage. Police used tear gas and stun grenades to push back the crowd. Several arrests were made.
