M7.1 earthquake hits Peru-Brazil border

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the Peru-Brazil border on Friday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The tremor hit at a depth of 609.5km.

There are currently no reports of damage or casualties.
