The European Travel Commission (ETC) and ForwardKeys have recently released a detailed joint study showing that in the first four months of this year, Chinese arrivals in Europe were up 9.3 percent on the equivalent period last year.
Because London’s tourist attractions are set to welcome the surge of Chinese travelers, their attraction pass company, Leisure Pass Group, has partnered with Ctrip to cater to the strong demand.
The strategic partnership is expected to create an array of offerings to featured attractions, which includes iconic sites such as the Tower of London, Windsor Castle and Westminster Abbey, as well as bus tours around the city, Thames River Cruises and many lesser-known ‘hidden gem’ attractions.
However, London is just the starting destinations for this cooperation strategy. Ctrip will be rolling out white label versions of Leisure Pass Group’s passes in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Paris during this year.
