The digital reach of China's national broadcaster expands to county-level areas, as CCTV launched its redesigned cctv.com for all platforms including mobile and website.
Users can watch video contents produced by 100 county-level TV stations, which were only available to local people before.
The front page of cctv.com received a new design featuring the color red and a modular layout that makes the site look more modern.
The website also has contents from China National Radio (CNR) and China Radio International (CRI) as the two stations merged with CCTV in 2018.
Leaders from CPC, Chinese government and CCTV jointly launched the county-level digital media platform.

CGTN - the international branch of CCTV - also undertook a redesign for its digital platform.
Chinese President Xi Jinping visited CCTV exactly three years ago and shared his opinion on how Chinese media should do its job well. "[By] connecting China and the outside world, communicating with the international community," Xi said.
