More than half of the economists, strategists and analysts surveyed believe that China's economy is bottoming out, meaning that the growth of the country is likely to pick up before long.
Most of the experts polled believe that a rebound will come within 2020. But nine percent of the respondents said the economic slowdown could last longer than five years. That's compared to 17 percent of the respondents saying China's economic growth has already bottomed out.

The trade tangle with the U.S. is still the main uncertainty for China. Nearly 60 percent of respondents said the trade dispute was likely to be resolved this year. Still, almost a fifth of the economists believed it is going to be a long-term battle for the world's two largest economies.
Interestingly, 12 percent of the respondents believed that a deal had already been reached, but has not yet been announced, which coincides with market chatters on Monday that U.S. President Trump has decided to lift all tariffs on China.
