A series of large-scale emergency rescue drills were conducted in the east China city of Liaocheng on Friday, by about 1,000 staff members from more than 30 government departments. The drills tested the rescue and collaborative capacity of the departments to handle oil tanker explosions, chemical gas leaks and boat and vehicle accidents.
