Buyi people celebrate their traditional festival with a long table banquet in SW China. A traditional harvest celebration, the festival gets its name from the date of the event, which always falls on the 13th day of the third lunar month. On this day, the Buyi people offer sacrifices to their ancestors, and celebrate the harvest. A long table banquet has been an indispensable part of the event.
