China has dismissed the accusations that it is monitoring US President Donald Trump's personal iPhone, saying the related report by the New York Times is evidence it has made another "fake news" story, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a regular press conference on Thursday.
"If the US side is worried about Trump's iPhone being monitored, Trump can use Huawei mobile phone instead," Hua told reporters.
"To end his safety concerns, he can stop using any modern communication device," Hua added.
