At least 24 people were injured in earthquakes that have jolted Tonghai County in China's southwestern Yunnan Province in the past two days, according to data from the provincial civil affairs department.
Around 69,600 people were affected by the quakes, which damaged over 8,000 homes. A total of 33,148 people have been relocated.
A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the county at 03:50 BJT on Tuesday (1950 GMT on Monday), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
It came just 26 hours after another 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit the same area Monday morning, injuring 18 people.
When the first quake hit, nurses from a neonatal ward at a county-level hospital swiftly moved infants in their care to safety, which was captured by surveillance cameras in the hospital.
