Libo-Rongjiang expressway to boost tourism in SW China's Guizhou

Stretching over 67 kilometers, the Libo-Rongjiang expressway in southwest China's Guizhou Province has now opened to traffic with a designated speed of 80 kilometers per hour. 
Thanks to the expressway, time spent on the journey from Libo County to Rongjiang County will be greatly shortened from three hours to only one hour.

It is expected that the operation of the Libo-Rongjiang expressway will accelerate the development of local tourism and economy to a large extent.
Featuring spectacular terraced fields, natural landscapes as well as traditional villages of the Miao, Dong, Shui and Buyi ethnic groups, the drive along the expressway will offer you unique ethnic flavor and natural wonder.

Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area

Libo County is noted for its Zhangjiang Scenic Area, a national 5A-level scenic spot. Characterized by karst landscapes, dense forests, majestic mountains, and turquoise water, it is one of the top tourist attractions in Guizhou Province. 
Its landmark, Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, is even honored as “Small Jiuzhaigou,” a World Heritage Site in Sichuan Province.

Xiaoqikong Bridge, which literally means seven small arches, is a bridge with a length of 40 meters, a width of 2.2 meters, and a height of 5.5 meters. The bridge exhibits delicate structures and exquisite craftsmanship.
