He can't breathe fire, but unlike Games of Thrones' fictional dragons - Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion - Ganas is the real deal. According to the IUCN's last assessments, the Komodo dragon's conservation status is vulnerable. There are an estimated 4,000 to 5,000 Komodo dragons in the wild.
