2018 SCO Summit begins in east China’s Qingdao

The 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit will begin at 9:00 a.m. (0100 GMT) on Sunday in Qingdao in eastern China’s Shandong Province.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will welcome his fellow leaders and later join them for a group photo.
President Xi will chair formal and informal talks with all of his colleagues on the current status and prospects of the SCO, further cooperation in various fields and major international and regional topics.
The summit leaders will jointly sign and issue the Qingdao Declaration, as well as ratify more than ten cooperation documents covering security, economic matters, people-to-people and cultural engagement and other areas.
