A newly born koala cub met the public for the first time accompanied by its parents at Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing city, east China’s Jiangsu Province last month.
The pair, Mo Li and Wu Tong, arrived in Nanjing in March, as a symbol of the friendship between Australia and China. Hongshan Forest Zoo also became the first zoo in China where visitors could take a look at the Australian animal, which is considered as a national treasure.
Their first cub was born on August 20, and by the end of the month, it could already stay on the tree branch by itself.
During the public meeting, the family looks calm and natural. It seems the loving parents and their cute baby have been enjoying their new life here in Nanjing.
