Midway through the third quarter, Houston is on top by five, but Stephen Curry let fly from the parking lot and the Chef finished with a team-high 28.
And then on the Warriors next possession, Curry did it again to give the hosts the lead 63-62 who contributed six threes this game.
With two and a half minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Chris Paul found Eric Gordon who drains the trey to give the Rockets a five point edge.
With half a second left, the Warriors had one more chance. Curry got off the shot, but it's no good and the Rockets hang on to win 95-92, even the series 2-2 apiece and retaking home court advantage before Game Five in Houston on Thursday.
