Scandal-plagued American actor Kevin Spacey's latest film "Billionaire Boys Club" earned only 126 US dollars in Friday's debut, marking a career low for the disgraced Hollywood star.
"Billionaire Boys Club" was filmed in 2015 and released with no publicity following a premium VOD release last month. The film brought in 126 dollars on Friday and an additional 162 dollars on Saturday from 10 screens in selected theaters across the United States, American entertainment and media news website, the Wrap, reported.
"If the current national ticket price average of 9.27 dollars is used, that means that no more than 31 people bought tickets to see the crime drama," the Wrap noted.

Directed by James Cox and starring Kevin Spacey, Ansel Elgort and Taron Egerton, the film is based on a true story of a group of wealthy boys from Los Angeles during the early 1980s.
The scandals of the two-time Oscar winner for 1995's crime thriller "The Usual Suspects" and 1999's drama "American Beauty" first broke out last year, during the outburst of the #MeToo movement among the Hollywood celebrities.
He was accused of sexual harassment of a 14-year-old boy more than 30 years ago. Spacey denied recalling the encounter but attributed to drunkenness as he came out as a gay man on Twitter.

But rather than tempering an uproar over the allegation, Spacey’s combination of an apology with a statement going public about his sexual orientation stirred a backlash against the actor as Hollywood found itself embroiled in yet another sex scandal.
He was later fired by the streaming service, Netflix, from the cast of the last season of "House of Cards," and was also edited out of the film "All the Money in the World".
