The capital city has launched 15 themed tourism packages and dozens of driving to provide plenty of winter fun for local residents and tourists.
The packages cover activities across a range of interests, including folk customs, winter sports, traditional Chinese medicine, hot springs, shopping and art performances in Beijing.
The goal is to encourage people to experience the winter charm of the capital and popularize winter sports ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics, says Wang Yue, deputy head of the Beijing culture and tourism authority.
