An extremely preterm South Korean infant who was born after only 24 weeks of gestation, weighing just 302 grams with a height of 21.5 centimeters, was released from the hospital on July 12. The baby girl, named "Sarang," which means love in Korean, had spent five months in intensive care. Doctors described Sarang’s survival as a miracle. She is the lightest preterm baby in South Korea to survive.
