Over 1,000 people swam along a 1,500-meter-long route in the icy waters at the Wuxia and Xiling gorges between southwestern Chongqing Municipality and central Hubei Province along the Yangtze River on Saturday. The two gorges are part of the famous Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, with a other one being the Qutang Gorge.
