Jiuzhaigou, which literally means "nine-settlement valley", is named for the nine Tibetan settlements located in the mountain valley of Aba Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Highlights are the region's 108 clear alpine lakes and the unique Tibetan and Qiang culture.
