The opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) will kick off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai on Monday. 

Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to make a keynote speech. 

The CIIE, the first-ever Chinese fair focusing exclusively on imported goods and services, is the world's first Import-themed national exhibition.

More than 3,000 enterprises from over 130 countries and regions will participate in the expo.
