More than 30 camel racers attended the first camel cultural festival in the Subei Mongolian Autonomous County of northwest China's Gansu Province on Saturday. Camel races were held as part of the Silk Road Nadam Culture and Tourism Festival, which attracted many spectators of various ethnic groups. It was staged during the Winter Nadam Fair in Subei. The competition has 10,000-meter, 8,000-meter and 2,000-meter races, in addition to a camel-training contest.
