M5.9 earthquake hits Philippines' General Luna

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck 41 kilometers east of General Luna, Philippines, at around 19:55 local time on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
Tremors have been felt in Surigao City.
The earthquake is not expected to cause any damage. So far, no tsunami alert has been issued.
