One of the all-time greats in athletics has shown that he still has the speed that made him an international superstar. During a visit to the capital of Peru on Tuesday, eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt competed against a motorcycle taxi on the boardwalk in Lima – and won!
The race was about 50 meters and the motorcycle taxi with three passengers' seats behind could reach its maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

Jamaican retired sprint Usain Bolt was in Lima representing a sportswear brand. The motor-taxi driver did not realize it yet, but his vehicle had no chance against the man who won gold in the 100 and 200 meters, as well as the 4×100 relay at Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016.
His first relay title was later stripped due to a teammate's positive doping test, but that has not affected the image of the man known as "Lightning" Bolt.
Some people call Bolt the fastest man in the world. He has run 100 meters in 9.58 seconds and 200 meters in 19.30 seconds. The Jamaican icon still draws crowds like this wherever he goes, and never fails to rev them up by striking his signature pose.
Bolt is also known to be a fan of the English Premier League soccer club Manchester United. After his retirement in 2017, Bolt trained with Borussia Dortmund in Germany, Mamelodi Sundowns FC in South Africa, Norwegian club Strømsgodset, and had a trial with the Australian side Central Coast Mariners.
