At least 17 people were killed and 37 others were injured as a blast hit a mosque in eastern Afghanistan's Khost City on Sunday, local officials said.
The blast targeted a voters' registration center inside the Yaqobbi Mosque where people were gathered after afternoon prayers.
The death toll is expected to rise further.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the
