A solar-powered drone developed by Chinese scientists recently finished a year-round test for long flights in China's northwestern Shaanxi Province. In the latest winter trial, the drone, named Meiying, flew over 10 hours in sunlight eight times weaker than in summer. Tests were also conducted at an altitude of over 4,600 meters to study wildlife.
