Fans of Disney’s California Adventure Park are in for a treat this summer with the debut of a new attraction Pixar Pier on June 23, but starting from next year, they will have another reason to visit this theme park.
According to a Disney Parks blog, an “Inside Out” ride is coming to Adventure Park in California in 2019. The ride, which will be located in the Inside Out Headquarters neighborhood of Pixar Pier, will be called "Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind”.
Even though Disney has yet to share too many details about the upcoming ride, the announcement and the concept art is enough to make fans excited.
"Located on the western end of the pier, the lush and colorful Inside Out Headquarters will be the future home of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind!" Disney Parks announced. "Making its Pixar Pier debut in 2019, this whimsical family-friendly attraction inspired by "Inside Out" will be — not surprisingly — full of emotions."

The concept of the “Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind” is based on the hit movie “Inside Out” in 2015. In that movie, five personifications of a girl Riley’s basic emotions – Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger – all come to her life and influence her actions via a control sole. Their job is to find a way to work together to save Riley who feels depressed about leaving her hometown, and her most precious memories alongside her former imaginary friend, Bing Bong.
In the meantime, another attraction about “Inside Out” named “Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff” will open later this summer. The fans can try different kind of candies and Pixar-themed merchandise in celebration of their beloved characters.
Disney Park also announced a launch of another ride next year. “Toy Story Boardwalk” will be home to Jessie’s Critter Carousel in 2019.
Pixar Pier is now open at Disney’s California Adventure Park. The area features the Incredicoaster and Pixar Pal-A-Round attractions, the Lamplight Lounge, Pixar-inspired food, arcade games, and distinct neighborhoods.
