Heavy rainfall in northwest China’s Gansu Province has triggered floods and mudslides since June 29. The disaster has affected more than 40,000 people and damaged 212 villages. The preliminary estimated economic loss is nearly 270 million yuan. No deaths or missing people have been reported so far.
