Wang became the first Chinese goal scorer in the UEFA Women's Champions League after joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in August. She has clearly proven that she deserves to be part of the team and has tallied four goals and six assists to help PSG sit second in the standings behind Lyon.
The 23-year-old scored four goals in the tournament to help China to win bronze by beating Thailand 3-1 in the this year's AFC Women's Asian Cup in Jordan in April and lead the Steel Roses to claim the silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Chinese midfielder was crowned the AFC Women's Player of the Year in November and was chosen to lead China at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
