The Information Office of the State Council will hold Tuesday a press conference on a newly released white paper on the facts and the Chinese government's position regarding the ongoing trade frictions with the US, at 10:00 a.m. BJT (0200 GMT).

Representatives from the country's top planning agency, the intellectual property office, as well as the Chinese ministries of Commerce, Finance, and Industry and Information Technology will be in attendance to answer media questions.

China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce Fu Ziying, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative Wang Shouwen, Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission Lian Weiliang, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Luo Wen, Vice Minister of Finance Zou Jiayi, Deputy Commissioner of National Intellectual Property Administration He Hua, and Vice Minister and Spokesperson of the State Council Information Office Guo Weimin will attend the press conference.
