On today's episode of Expo Pavilion Tours, we take you to the Japanese garden, bringing the East Asian country's exquisite gardening arts and the people's lifestyles.
The philosophy behind the Japanese garden is to show its people's gratitude towards nature and diverse lifestyles.

The first thing that catches our eyes is the Japanese-style pond setting, with water flowing from mountains into a pond at the center of the garden. Also, fancy carps have been delivered by air from Japan to attract visitors around the world.
On the eastern side, a tea house is available, with traditional decorations like stone lanterns and a washbasin, allowing inner peace and serenity here.

Keep walking and you will see the unique Japanese architecture, a steel-framed-structure pavilion without a single pillar, and a large roof with wide eaves.

"The 5.57-meter-long work marks the 557 years of the Ikenobo, which actually originated in China. Meanwhile, by using evergreen pines, it shows my hope that the China-Japan friendship will last forever," said Masami Miura, designer of the Ikenobo work, at the Japanese pavilion of the Beijing International Horticultural Expo.
Maybe we should come back again, since exhibitors here change the decor every two weeks to present diverse flowers and lifestyles for all seasons.
