The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s leader Kim Jong Un met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, two days before his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
Kim landed in Singapore on Sunday afternoon with top officials including Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho and Kim Yong Chol.
Later on Sunday, Kim left the St. Regis hotel in central Singapore in a motorcade and traveled to the presidential palace, known as the Istana, where he met Prime Minister Lee.

Kim, in his first public comments since arriving, said Singapore's role would be recorded in history if the summit was a success.
The historic summit between Kim and Trump will take place at 9 a.m. local time on June 12 at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island in Singapore.
