In a magnificent goal fest in Moscow, Belgium registered a thumping 5-2 victory over Tunisia in Spartak Stadium in Moscow on Saturday. Two of the Red Devils stars, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, both scored twice, with the latter moving to top of the scorer list. Lukaku is now level with glitzy Portugal talisman Cristiano Ronaldo for number of World Cup goals.
In a game of goals galore, the Tunisians also stole the heart of the 44,190 spectators at the stadium with their enterprising display and the two goals. Belgium, after winning their opening game against Panama, were eager to get another victory so as to advance to the knockout stage while for the Tunisians, fresh from a last-minute defeat in their opening game against England, it was a must-win game.

However, Belgium drew first blood as Chelsea forward Eden Hazard was tripped and fell on the right line of the box. As a penalty was given following a VAR confirmation, Hazard briskly sent the ball into the net. The Europeans doubled their lead as Manchester United forward Lukaku received a right back cross and prodded it into the bottom right corner.
The Carthage Eagles stepped up their game and responded with a fiercer attack. Dylan Bronn headed into the bottom right from a Wahbi Khazri free-kick. However, Lukaku made it two for himself when Thomas Meunier glided into the striker for Belgium's third goal.
Continuing their red-hot form, in the second half, Belgium made it 4-1 with Hazard tucking the ball into an empty net. The fifth goal came towards the end of the match as Youri Tielemans curled in from the right while substitute Micky Batshuayi slotted in. But that wasn't the end of the game as three minutes later, Tunisian captain Khazri steered a cross from Hamdi Naguez who dribbled from the right. Next Thursday Tunisia will play against Panama while Belgium will vie against England.

In Rostov-in-Don, Mexico, after upsetting defending champions Germany in their opening group league game, edged past Republic of Korea 2-1 on Saturday to inch closer to a berth for the second round.
Carlos Vela put the Mexicans ahead from the penalty spot in the 26th minute at Rostov Arena before their all-time top scorer Javier Hernandez sealed victory in the second half, finishing off an unstoppable move from breakout player Hirving Lozano.
It was Hernandez's 50th goal for his country and his fourth strike at a World Cup. He is now level with Luis Hernandez as Mexico's leading scorer in World Cup history.
Republic of Korea's star forward Son Heung-min scored a spectacular consolation goal in stoppage time from outside the box. In order to ensure a place in the second round, Mexico will play against Sweden in their last Group F match.
"We came to Russia with a lot of criticism but we're working hard and have a lot of talent. We have humility but we beat Germany and South Korea and now we have to play against Sweden and stay cool and calm," goalscorer Hernandez said.
"We cannot afford to get caught up in all this. We have to continue our job and stay humble. Of course we should enjoy this but tomorrow we start working again," he added.
