In celebration of the Chinese New Year, a grand flower show kicked off at Yuntai Garden in the Flower City Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, on February 1. Featuring over 300,000 tulips of different colors, the flower show offers visitors a feast for the eyes.
As its name "Flower City" indicates, Guangzhou is home to numerous evergreen plants and flowers blooming all year round. Yuntai Garden, situated at the northern entrance of Baiyun Mountain, is often referred to as the "Pearl of the Flower City" for its rich collection of beautiful and rare flowers.
The flower show lasts for over a month until March 12 with a ticket of 25 yuan (3.7 U.S. dollars). Besides, the transportation is handy, with many bus routes available.
