A blaze on Monday swept across the top of Notre-Dame cathedral and collapsed its spire. Smoldering ashes can be seen, along with red embers falling from the roof. Paris firefighters said "the entire fire is out" and officials consider the fire caused by restoration work taking place at the global architectural treasure.
