Chinese President Xi Jinping extended his New Year greetings to people in China and around the world in a televised speech on Monday.

The word cloud identifies the issues and terms on which Xi has placed emphasis. 

This is Xi's sixth New Year address since he was elected president of the People's Republic of China.

"People" has been the most frequently used word since his first address on December 31, 2013, with 95 mentions. Other frequently used words include "Chinese," "China" and "World."
