Retracing silk road cultural exchanges back to over 1,000 years ago

Excavated in northwest China's Shaanxi Province last year, these elegant cultural relics are nearly 1,200 years old and show that analyzing cultural relics is one of the best ways to find out the in-depth connection between China and rest of the countries along the silk road. To build this connection and better preserve the cultural relics by using technological means, countries along Belt and Road routes are working together in the field of archaeological discovery and protection.
