Juventus of Serie A's official website announced on Friday that Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club after the 2018-19 season, which is two games away from ending.
"Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/2020 season," said Juventus in the statement.
Since he took over as manager of the team in July, 2014, Allegri helped Juventus win five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia championships and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies, in total 11 titles. Furthermore, he also led "The Old Lady" to the UEFA Champions League Final twice only to lose to Barcelona (2014-15) and Real Madrid (2016-17) respectively.

Nonetheless, failing to win a Champions League trophy has been on the minds of both fans and management and it's not helping Allegri, especially when the club was knocked out by Eredivisie's Ajax, a club that hasn't made the semifinals in 22 years.
Juventus fans have other reasons to not like Allegri. Since the club are already invincible in Italy – they wrapped up the championship five games earlier than the end of the season – fans wanted more exciting games instead of the boring ones in which the club could only score 1.9 goals on average.
So far there's no clear candidate for the new manager of Juventus. They negotiated with Antonio Conte in April but according to Sky Sports, Conte is more likely to become the new boss of Inter Milan.
