Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a speech at a conference to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx on Friday morning. At the beginning of the conference, all committees stood up to sing the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China.
