Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy and Vice Premier Liu He will visit the US from May 15 to 19 for trade talks, Lu Kang, spokesman of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced at Monday’s daily briefing.
He will visit the US at the invitation of the Trump administration, said spokesperson Lu Kang.
Liu has played a key role in the economic dialogue between the US and China, and previously held talks with the Washington delegation when they visited Beijing in early May.
