Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto attended the launching event of the "2019 China-Finland Year of Winter Sports" on Monday. President Xi said cooperation in sports will help promote overall partnership between the two countries. The Finnish side said that China is becoming a strong sporting nation and Finland would like to support it in that regard.
